What TypeFlow reads
To generate a draft, TypeFlow reads the text in your active input field — and, on Mac, the text visible above your cursor in the current window — to use as context. This text is sent to TypeFlow's servers solely to produce a suggestion. We do not store, log, retain, or use it for training; it is discarded immediately after your draft is generated.
How AI requests work
TypeFlow handles AI for you — there are no API keys to manage and no third-party accounts to set up. Your subscription covers the cost of generating drafts. Requests are processed through TypeFlow's servers and the AI providers we use to power completions; your text is never used for any purpose other than producing your draft.
Account data
When you create a TypeFlow account, we collect your email address. Payments and subscriptions are processed securely through the App Store and RevenueCat — we never see or store your full payment details. We use your email to manage your subscription and send you account-related messages.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics (privacy-friendly, no cookies, no personal data) to understand how people use our website. We may also use session recording tools to improve the product experience. These tools do not capture passwords or payment details.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties except as necessary to operate the service (e.g., the App Store and RevenueCat for payment processing, and the AI providers that power your drafts).
