Privacy Policy

To generate completions, TypeFlow reads the text in your currently active input field. This text is sent to OpenAI using the API key you provide in TypeFlow's settings. TypeFlow does not store, log, or retain this text — it is used solely to produce a suggestion and is discarded immediately after.

TypeFlow uses your personal OpenAI API key to make requests on your behalf. Your key is stored locally on your Mac and is never transmitted to TypeFlow's servers. You are responsible for your own OpenAI account and any usage costs incurred.

When you create a TypeFlow account, we collect your email address and payment information (processed securely by Lemon Squeezy). We use this to manage your subscription and send you account-related emails.

We use Plausible Analytics (privacy-friendly, no cookies, no personal data) to understand how people use our website. We may also use session recording tools to improve the product experience. These tools do not capture passwords or payment details.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties except as necessary to operate the service (e.g., Lemon Squeezy for payment processing, OpenAI for completions via your own key).
